I am no rock singer, and do not actually enjoy loud music. Whenever rock is mentioned, the image of long-haired, tight-jeans-clad singers appear in my mind, smashing their guitars, and shaking their heads uncontrollably! Therefore, It surprised me when I was glued to the TV week after week when Rock Star Inxs made its debut! I even had my favorite singers, and would sweat in suspense, when their turn to face the judges came. My favorite was not JD. In fact, he was my least favorite! That shows how much I know about rock music! Anyway, the high level of competition was what actually impressed me.
When Rock Star Supernova came on, I was a loyal fan of the show. I did not necessarily enjoy Tommy Lee's talk about the female singers' body shapes, or dressing, but I did have my favorite performer, once again. However, I did not like the nude dares the singers made to one another. There was also a lot of ugly drama which unfolded among the singers, one involving my favorite singer! It was almost enough to turn me away from the show! I stayed on, to again, see my least favorite singer being crowned winner of the competition! Guess I'm still not much of a judge of rock music!
